Fairfax County Partners Receive Coveted Award!
We couldn’t be more excited for our valued customers at Fairfax County Fire & Rescue in Virginia who — in collaboration with other partners — have been given the 2025 Virginia Association of Counties (VACo) Achievement Award for establishing the Fire and EMS Pharmacy project.
The award is not only a huge honor, but incredibly meaningful as it highlights the accomplishments of multiple agencies working together to improve public safety and healthcare for the community.
Creating the Fire and EMS Pharmacy required complex navigation of Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Virginia Board of Pharmacy regulations, in addition to aligning operational needs across multiple jurisdictions. VACo received over 150 submissions this year, and we’re proud to see this amazing project be recognized for its innovation, collaboration, and powerful impact.
